Course Outline:
Local Government bodies have many different departments and facilities – Recreation facilities, sports fields, stadiums, golf courses, swimming pools, sport centres, halls, camping grounds and caravan parks.
Community service facilities – child-care, aged care and accommodation, community care and welfare services, building services, including inspections, licensing, certification and enforcement, planning and development approval
Cultural facilities and services, such as libraries, art galleries and museums, water and sewerage services, and other services, such as abattoirs, sale-yards and group purchasing schemes.
Our Local Government-specific Fire Training program will equip your personnel with the skills required to respond to various emergencies, safely evacuate your workplace and to combat all different classes of fire.
Our course is tailored to enable employees from a range of different departments to attend. Many courses offered by providers are suited to only one building. Our specialist Local Government Fire Training course is specifically targeted at your City, Shire or Town and the many facilities within.
Emergencies covered include Fires, Bomb threats/Suspicious packages, Medical Incidents and many more. The training is delivered in a vibrant positive learning environment designed to maximise learning and practical experiences.
All our trainers are Career Firefighters with 100 + years’ experience in Emergency Response so you learn the “must-knows” when dealing with emergencies.
The training closely adheres to AS 3745:2010 – Planning for Emergencies in Facilities, so you can ensure your workplace is compliant.
The training also comes with an “Awareness” training option that is not Nationally Accredited.
