Course Outline:
Recreation, Libraries and Aquatic Centres are one of the central hubs of any community. Also known as Leisure Centres, they are used by virtually every single resident within that Local Government catchment at some point in that particular person’s lifetime.
Libraries and Recreation Centres have similar fire and safety training requirements; however Aquatic Centres have added complexities such as Chlorine Gas requiring additional training in Breathing Apparatus use.
With each precinct being quite diverse, this represents an issue with specific training for these Facilities.
Priority has the skills and experience to overcome these training issues so you don’t have the hassle of contacting several different training organisations.
The training sessions are fully customisable to suit the needs of your Facilities. A common example is a Fire Warden and Extinguisher training session in the morning for Library and Recreation Centre staff, followed by a Breathing Apparatus refresher session after lunch for the Aquatic staff.

Our Fire Warden and Extinguisher Training course will equip your personnel with the skills required to respond with confidence to an emergency and then safely evacuate your workplace. Regular evacuation training will ensure that your personnel are ready to deal with any workplace emergency.
Breathing Apparatus Training:
This training is recommended for Lifeguards or Pool Managers who are required to wear breathing apparatus in the workplace – in a confined space, with hazardous gases, in an oxygen deficient atmosphere, in other situations requiring the wearing of a breathing apparatus.
