Course Outline:

Aged Care Centres are one of the most complex Facilities to manage during an Emergency. There is a high chance that we, or a relative will at some point reside in one of these Centres.

Whilst they have similar fire and safety training requirements to most buildings, Aged Care Centres have added complexities such as different “wings” with diverse Resident care requirements. This presents different needs when responding to an Emergency.

Priority has the skills and experience to overcome these issues so you don’t have the hassle of contacting several different training organisations.

The training sessions are fully customisable to suit the needs of your Facilities. A common example is a Fire Warden training session in the morning followed by an Evacuation Exercise drill, followed by Fire Extinguisher training session in the afternoon.

The Training course will equip your personnel with the skills required to respond with confidence to an emergency and then safely evacuate your workplace. Regular evacuation training will ensure that your personnel are ready to deal with any workplace emergency.

All our trainers are Firefighters so you understand what’s required in an emergency.

Whilst we are on site, we can also conduct a Full Fire Safety Audit to ensure your compliance with AS3745-2010.
